West Coast collector car is as rust-free as they come. This show winner (2005 First Place Rootes Group Chico British Car Club) has been completely restored over several years. Though not a "frame off" restoration, the car is finished to a very nice standard and can still be used as a sports tourer as originally intended. Most certainly one of the nicest "drivers" you will find. Mechanically, the car starts reliably and runs well. Surprisingly, no oil leaks to speak of either. This Has been my weekend three-season fun car since obtaining it in 2000. The interior shows much better in person than in the pictures. The canvas top is in excellent shape, but the weatherstripping is dry and should be replaced. There is only slight wear imperfections in the rear plastic window. The stock engine was completely rebuilt along with everything else that was worn or was in need. A new single Weber carb is only modification (Stromberg's included with many spares, shop manual, owner's books, etc). Please do not call if you want to rip out the guts and shoehorn in a small block V8... Not this one please! The car was repainted in the early 2000's from what I believe was original paint. No rust repair or body filler was required to prepare for painting. There aren't any straighter anywheres. More detailed photos by request. Note: The discoloration on the detailed shots is original primer showing through rub spots in the original paint areas (under hood and in trunk). Just replaced the whitewalls, battery and starter. E-mail or call me for more details. Reasonably priced classic British roadster at $17000... Below Hagerty resale value for car in No. 2 "excellent condition". This truly is an excellent example of the Tiger's more manageable brother.
